A MAN was attacked and kicked by two teenage boys after they drove their electric scooter into his car.

At about 6.15pm on Tuesday, February, 4, a man in his 20s was attacked by two teenage boys on Station Road outside the Co-op in Thatcham, West Berkshire.

Police have arrested a 16-year-old boy from Thatcham on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.

He has been released on bail until March 4, 2020.

The attack saw one of the boys drive an electric scooter erratically in the road, which damaged the victims car.

The man spoke to the two boys and they then proceeded to attack him by pushing him to the ground and kicking him.

Both boys fled the scene on foot and on a scooter towards Oak Tree Road.

Investigating officer PC Laura Bailey, based at Newbury police station said: “This incident happened on a busy road with pedestrians and drivers passing by.

“I am appealing for any further witnesses to come forward, particularly anyone who recorded the incident on their phones as you may have vital information that could help our investigation.
