A SPRING evening party will be held to raise funds for a skin-condition charity.
Wokiingham Borough Mayor Bill Soane is hosting the event at Billingbear Farm, Binfield, in a bid to raise funds for charity Debra UK.
The charity supports people who suffer from Epidermolysis Bullosa, a group of skin conditions resulting in hyper-fragile skin.
The event will feature a DJ, a dancefloor, a raffle, tasty food and a glass of champagne.
Borough Mayor Cllr Bill Soane said: “I am very excited to be hosting a Spring Soirée in support of Debra
UK. The charity works hard to support people who suffer with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a group of
genetic skin conditions that cause the skin to blister and tear at the slightest touch.
“I hope lots of local people will join us and show their support to this amazing charity. The event will be
great fun, not only is there a DJ, but there will be delicious food on offer and several excellent prizes up
for grabs in our raffle.”
The formal-attire event takes place at Lake Barn,
Billingbear Farm, on Saturday 28 March, from 7 to 11.30pm.
