The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Court:

January 3:

ANGELA STEVENS, 35, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing £109 of meat from Iceland in Woodley on September 9. Admitted stealing £339.91 worth of cosmetics from Superdrug in Woodley on the same day, and two counts of failing to surrender to custody at Reading Magistrates' Court on September 9 and October 31 having been released on bail. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity. Also ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge.

January 4:

DEBORAH NEMENYI, 60, of Norwood Road, Reading, admitted theft by finding after stealing a parcel containing two vinyl discs worth £50 in Reading on March 11. Given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £21 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs.

January 6:

JAMES DUNSTAN, 37, of no fixed abode, admitted criminal damage worth £252.59 to a wall at Loddon Valley Police Station. Given a conditional discharge for three months.

KANE WOOTTEN, 24, of Wenlock Edge, Charvil, admitted breaching a community order by not attending unpaid work on November 3, and November 10. Fined £100 and ordered to pay £60 court costs.

RYAN BUNCE, 22, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing £74.97 worth of Xbox games from John Lewis in Reading on February 20, 2019. Also admitted stealing a tv worth £384 from Tesco in Reading on April 4, 2019. Sentenced to three months in prison due to previous record. Ordered to pay £74.97 compensation.

January 7:

DARREN DORE, 52, of George Street, Reading, convicted of harassment by breach of a restraining order by sending a hand written letter on September 22, and convicted of harassment by confrontation on September 10 in Reading. Also convicted of harassment in Reading on September 21 by banging on a front door, and admitted failing to surrender to custody on November 26 having been released on bail. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity, and made subject to a restraining order. Also ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £500 court costs.

DANIELLE HUTCHINSON, 32, of Anglefield Road, Caversham, admitted stealing a £73 handbag from Dune in John Lewis, and admitted stealing a purse and tote bag from Cath Kidston worth £40 from Reading on March 29. Also admitted theft by finding of a tan Tweed pillow worth £30.98 in Reading on July 9, and admitted stealing four bank cards in Reading on November 14. Also admitted failing to comply with requirements of a suspended sentence order by not attending rehabilitation activity on January 14, 2019. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation requirements and 70 hours unpaid work. Fined £100 and also ordered to pay £710.98.

ANTHONY BLOOMFIELD, 42, of Willow Street in Reading, admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements following a period of detention by not attending planned appointments on October 1, November 12, and November 27. Sentenced to 14 days in prison due to previous record.

January 8:

JORDAN ESPINO, 25, of Addington Road, Reading, admitted driving on the M3 near junction 7 in Basingstoke without displaying L plates and only having a provisional licence on April 3, 2019. Also admitted speeding above the 70mph limit on the M3 on April 3, 2019. Fined £230 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs. Six points added to driving licence.

KINGSLEY HAUGHTON, 43, of no fixed abode, admitted entering a property in Reading on January 7 in contravention of a closure notice issued by police. Fined £40 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs.

ALEXIS MOUTREY, 37, of Warren Row Road, Reading, admitted drink-driving on London Road, Bracknell, on August 1, 2019. Found to have 187mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood, the legal limit being 80mg. Fined £573 and ordered to pay £57 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 20 months.

KESTER OWEN, 36, of Hatford Road, Southcote in Reading, admitted criminal damage to a window worth £120 at The Royal Albion pub in Reading on November 1. Also admitted assault by beating on November 1 in Reading, and admitted a further offence of assault by beating on October 10 in Reading. Admitted breaching a conditional discharge order imposed following an offence of being drunk and disorderly in Reading. Sentenced to 18 weeks in prison due to it being an unprovoked attack 'of a serious nature'.

VIESTURS ANGIS, 39, of Portman Road, Reading, admitted drink-driving on the J11 roundabout at the A33 in Reading on December 17. Fined £400 and ordered to pay £40 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

KIRK WOOTTON, 37, of Moores Place, West Berkshire, admitted assault by beating in Reading on November 1. Fined £150 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs.

January 9:

PETER PICKERING, 53, of Liverpool Road, Reading, admitted stealing a debit card and money from someone in Blagrave Street, Reading, on December 18. Also admitted fraud by false representation in Reading on December 18 after using a debit card that was not theirs to buy items in Sainsbury's and Tesco in Reading. Sentenced to eight weeks in prison due to previous convictions. Also ordered to pay £122 victim surcharge.

ARON CRIPPS, 32, of The Turnery in Thatcham, admitted criminal damage to a door safety chain in Newbury on November 19, 2019. Also admitted suing threatening or abusive words or behaviour to cause fear or violence. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and must undertake 60 hours unpaid work. Made subject to a restraining order. Also ordered to pay £15 compensation and £90 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs.

KAMRAN LATIF, 41, of no fixed abode, admitted possession of controlled drug A Heroin in Reading on November 22, 2019. Fined £100 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge.

JEFFREY BANNING, 49, of Barbel Close, Lower Earley in Reading, admitted possession of controlled class B drug cannabis in Wokingham on September 25, 2019. Fined £80 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs.

RACHAEL CLARK, 27, of Willow Street, Reading, admitted failing to comply with a community protection notice by being in Reading town centre business exclusion zone on December 18. Given a conditional discharge for nine months and ordered to pay £21 victim surcharge.

DUSAN DINGA, 42, of Waverley Road, Reading, admitted drink-driving on the Oxford Road, in Reading, on December 20. Found to have 45mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Also admitted driving without the correct insurance in Oxford Road, Reading, on December 12. Fined £323 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.
