NEW data has revealed that Reading is in the top five postcodes for first time buyers.
Market leading Skipton Building Society analysed internal data relating to thousands of Lifetime ISA customers to find out where the savvy first-time buyers purchased their homes.

The data looked at the top 10 most popular postcodes for first-time buyers, with Bristol leading the way, followed by Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and Reading.
The Lifetime Isa is a government-backed scheme designed to help first-time buyers get on the property ladder.

It provides a 25 per cent bonus on anything saved up to £4,000 (allowing savers to gain up to £1,000 bonus money each year).
