The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Court:

November 29:

HARJIT SANDHU, 38, of Green Lane, Thatcham, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis when required to by police in Thatcham on February 23. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and 80 hours unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £135 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 20 months.

ADELE FINCH, 26, of Wordsworth Road, Thatcham, convicted of travelling on a Great Western Railway service in Thatcham without having paid the £3.20 train fare on May 29. Fined £440 and ordered to pay £3.20 compensation. Also ordered to pay £3.20 compensation and £160 court costs.

STEFAN IVANOV, 19, of Whiteknights Road, Reading, convicted of travelling on a Great Western Railway service in Reading on May 21 without having paid the £14.80 train fare. Fined £440 and ordered to pay £14.80 compensation. Also ordered to pay £44 victim surcharge, plus £160 court costs.

JAMIE JONES, 28, of Burbridge Close, Calcot, convicted of travelling on a Great Western Railway service in Reading on May 20 without having paid the £4.40 train fare. Fined £440 and ordered to pay £4.40 compensation. Also ordered to pay £44 victim surcharge, plus £160 court costs.

VALENTIN-FLORIN RADU, 23, of Berkeley Road, Newbury, convicted of travelling on a Great Western Railway service in Theale without having paid the £9.10 train fare on May 28. Fined £440 and ordered to pay £9.10 compensation. Also ordered to pay £44 victim surcharge and £160 court costs.

ELMOIZ SAEED, 35, of Prince of Wales Avenue, Reading, convicted of travelling on a Great Western Railway service in Thatcham without having paid the £6.90 train fare on May 28. Fined £440 and ordered to pay £6.90 compensation. Also ordered to pay £44 victim surcharge and £160 court costs.

HAMZA SAEED, 33, of Cranbury Road, Reading, convicted of travelling on a Great Western Railway service at Reading West on May 24 without having paid the £6.90 train fare. Fined £440 and ordered to pay £6.90 compensation. Also ordered to pay £44 victim surcharge and £160 court costs.

JACK SCHOFIELD, 45, of Willow Street, Reading, convicted of travelling on a Great Western Railway service in Reading on May 30 without having paid the £20 train fare. Fined £440 and ordered to pay £20 compensation. Also ordered to pay £44 victim surcharge and £160 court costs.

FREDRICK WALSH, 47, of Burbidge Close, Calcot, convicted of travelling on a Great Western Railway service without having paid the £6.90 train fare in Midgham on May 24. Fined £440 and ordered to pay £6.90 compensation. Must also pay £44 victim surcharge and £160 court costs.

IWONA WOZNICA, 28, of Wantage Road, Reading, convicted of travelling on a Great Western Railway service in Theale on May 29 without having paid the £6.60 train fare. Fined £440 and ordered to pay £6.60 compensation. Also ordered to pay £44 victim surcharge and £160 court costs.

November 30:

CIARAN HART, 22, of Dalby Crescent, Newbury, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Cheap Street, Newbury, on November 10. Fined £50 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge.

December 2: KIRK GREENWOOD, 40, of Wavell Close in Shinfield, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order namely not attending office appointments on October 1 and October 8. Given a community order with varied requirements including rehabilitation activity.

HARPREET SINGH, 39, of Tinsley Close, Earley, convicted of two charges of drug-driving in Sainsburys car park in Calcot, Reading, on March 18. Found to have cocaine in his blood. Fined £660 and ordered to pay £66 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £1,000 court costs. Also convicted of being in possession of cocaine in Reading on March 18. Disqualified from driving for 18months.

MARTIN COX, 28, of Kennet Walk, Reading, admitted failing to comply with community requirements of a suspended sentence by not attending appointments on July 14 and July 25. Fined £75 and ordered to pay £75 court costs.

December 3:

GEORGE MORGAN, 23, of Ashwood Drive, Newbury, admitted possession of class B drug cannabis in Newbury on April 12. Given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge.

LISA-MARIE STOCKWELL, 31, of Stephens Close, Mortimer Common, Reading, admitted being the person whose name a vehicle was registered under without the correct insurance. Fined £150 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge.

MATTHEW GOUGH, 34, of Beechfield, Thatcham, admitted using violence to secure entry to premises in Thatcham on June 29. Also admitted assault by beating in Thatcham on June 28. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and must undertake 40 hours unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £650 court costs.

LEON CHARLES, 39, of Hayden Square, Reading, admitted obstructing or resisting a constable in execution of duty in Reading on November 5. Given a conditional discharge for six months and ordered to pay £21 victim surcharge.

LEE TURNER, 32, of Gaywood Drive, Newbury, admitted breaching a non-molestation order by contacting someone he was prohibited from doing so on October 9. Given a conditional discharge for three months and ordered to pay £21 victim surcharge, and £100 court costs.

December 4:

ZARA MCDOWELL, 34, of Maiwand Gardens in Tilehurst, Reading, admitted possession of class A drug cocaine in Reading on April 25. Also admitted failing to surrender to custody in Reading on October 8. Fined £50 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge.

ZARA MCDOWELL, 34, of Wokingham Road, Earley, admitted assault by beating in Reading on December 3. Fined £50 and ordered to pay £50 compensation.

CARL NZUME JR, 27, of Glyme Walk, Calcot in Reading, convicted of assault by beating in Newbury on February 10. Fined £300 and ordered to pay £50 compensation. Also ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £775 court costs.

ERIC HOWELL, 59, of Basingstoke Road, Reading, convicted of stealing four bottles of alcohol worth £76 from Marks and Spencer in Basingstoke on September 27. Also convicted of failing to surrender to Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on October 15. Also failed to surrender to custody in Reading on November 4. Also admitted failing to comply with a community order requirements by not attending planned appointments on October 7 and October 1. Original offence included stealing eight bottles of liquor worth £204.79 from Waitrose in Frimley, stealing meat and food worth £88.52 from Lidl on April 9, and failing to surrender to custody in Reading on September 23. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity. Also ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge.

KELLY RHONE, 36, of Military Drive, Thatcham, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause alarm or distress. Fined £80 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge.

December 5:

RYAN MURPHY, 18, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing a Givenchy leather car holder, Gucci wallet, and an MCM leather wallet worth £670 from Harrods Distribution on October 21 as an employee. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and must undertake 150 hours unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge, and £85 court costs.

LEE COX, 34, of Corinne Close, Reading, admitted two charges of obstructing or resisting a constable in execution of duty in Reading on October 25. Also admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause alarm or distress in Reading on October 25. Fined £240 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs.

JORDAN JEWELL, 22, of Mill Road, Burghfield, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis at Loddon Valley Police Station on November 17. Fined £350 and ordered to pay £35 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

DARREN LITTLE, 41, of Gaywood Drive, Newbury, admitted using a vehicle without the correct insurance or licence in Bath Road, Reading, on November 18. Fined £120 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge, plus £85 court costs. Eight points added to driving licence.

JAMIE HANDLEIGH, 24, of Laburnam Gardens, Reading, admitted two charges of racially or religiously aggravated intentional harassment or alarm or distress in Berkshire on October 26. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and must undertake 100 hours unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £500 compensation.

JAMIE RICHARDSON, 33, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing air pods from someone in Reading on September 2. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and must undertake 90 hours. Also ordered to pay £239 compensation and £90 victim surcharge.

JORDON SCOTT, 27, of Pottery Road, Tilehurst, admitted possession of class B drug cannabis in Reading on November 16. Fined £100 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs.

December 6:

DESMOND LINES, 47, of Newcastle Road in Reading, admitted stealing food from Sainsbury's in King Street Lane on December 5. Also admitted using a vehicle without the correct insurance or the correct licence in Redlands Road, Reading, on December 5. Fined £132 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs. Six points added to driving licence.
