A SUSPECTED drug dealer will appear in court after police discovered a large amount of heroin and cash.

Joshua Cox, 18, of no fixed abode, was arrested in connection to the offence on Monday, February 10, and charged the following day.

Cox was charged with one count of possession with intent to supply class A drugs in Reading

It comes after he was stopped and searched by officers in Glebe Road, Whitley on Monday where they found a quantity of heroin and cash.

The suspected drug dealer appeared at Reading Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, February 11, and has been remanded in custody.

He will appear at Reading Crown Court on March 16.
