TVP Roads Policing have since tweeted explaining the moped was not stolen but the number plate had been cloned from one that has been.
The vehicle has still been siezed.
A STOLEN moped has been found in Tilehurst thanks to help from a "bounty hunter".
The moped was found in Devonshire Gardens by the Thames Valley Police Roads Policing team, today (February 11).

The force thanked a vigilante on Twitter called "UK Bounty Hunter" — who describes themselves as "an Accredited International Auto-Crime Repatriations Investigator" — for information which led to the find.
