YOUNG musicians battled it out to showcase their talent at an exciting competition.
The Rotary Young Musician competition was held on January 21 at 6pm and saw local schools in Bracknell and Ascot take part.

Three boys from Papplewick Prep school in Ascot took place in the first round of the competition, which was held at LVS School.
Matthew Lin, Henry Song and Leo Liu took to the stage, with Leo taking runner up position for his perfect piano pieces.
Leo will progress to the District round at St Joseph's College in Reading on March 1.
Tom Bunbury, headteacher at Papplewick, said: "I am delighted that our boys took part in what was such a phenomenally high standard of instrumental and vocal music and of course congratulations go to Leo for reaching the next round."

The four-stage national competition aims to encourage development of musical talent for amateurs in full time education up to the age of 17.
It will feature 14 talented and accomplished young musicians, 5 vocalists and 9 instrumentalists.
