A wellness event is coming to Streatley today, hosted by Smart Works Reading at The Swan.

The charity is hosting workshops ran by health and wellbeing experts and will feature guest speakers to talk about how to improve wellness.

Eight wellness industry leaders will be holding a panel throughout the day to give tips on nutrition, exercise and self-care.

Some of the panellists include Emma-Jane Taylor author and CEO of the Works Company, Jo Tuffrey a yoga and fitness instructor and Kumud Gandhi food scientist and founder of The Cooking Academy.

People attending the event can also learn more about Nordic walking, Pilates, wellness and self-care.

Everybody at the event will receive a goody bag to help them on their wellness journey.

Smart Works Reading is an organisation that supports women throughout the Thames Valley into employment.

They aim to give women the advice and services they need to find themselves a stable job. This includes giving them practical tools to help them into job interviews and high-quality clothes to give them the best chance of success for a job.

The Chair of Smart Works Reading, Sarah Burns, MBE said: "We have gathered together a wonderfully diverse range of partners for this exciting event. It is on a topic that is close to our hearts and that everyone is talking about. We are really looking forward to being part of the conversation."

The event is from 11am-4.30pm and tickets are £40.
