ROADS will be gritted by the council tonight (January 20), as temperatures are expected to drop further.
The council confirmed it will be using lorries to de-ice primary routes from 7pm.

According to the Met Office, temperatures are set to drop to as low as -1C throughout the night, with 4am - 9am being the coldest.
It is predicted that it will start to warm up later in the morning tomorrow (January 21), with a high of 4C.
