AN amateur drama group in Tilehurst will be brightening up the January blues with panto performances of Cinderella.
The performance has been written and produced by the Triangle Players' longest serving member, Valerie Hodgson, who not only creates new panto scripts for us each year but also provides all the colourful and wacky costumes.

Performances will take place in the hall behind the Methodist Church in School Road, Tilehurst on January 23, 24 and 31 at 7.30pm, as well as Saturday, January 25 and Saturday, February 1 at 3pm and 7pm.

General release tickets are £8 for adults and £7 for children, and seniors and can be booked online here or by visiting C&G Newsagents in School Road (open until 1pm).
Special rates are available for schools and uniformed groups and bookings can be arranged by ringing Gaye on 0118 942 743.
The group are always looking for new talent, both for acting and backstage roles.
Anybody interested is asked to check out the website or simply come along to one of the meetings, which take place in the hall behind the Methodist church on Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm.
