A KNIFE has been launched at a police officer as he tried to arrest a man in Reading.
Thames Valley Police said they were called to reports of a man in possession of a knife in London Road on Friday, December 20.
It happened shortly after 1am when officers arrived and attempted to arrest the man.

The force said during the arrest 'the offender threw a knife at an officer' about 1.20am.
A 33-year-old man from Reading has since been arrested and released on bail until January 16.
The force did not say whether there were any injuries.
