A FESTIVE challenge for adults has arrived in Reading as part of this year's Magical Christmas programme.

The 12 Pubs of Christmas challenge kicked off on Saturday (December 7) and saw players attempt to solve 12 escape room-style challenges hidden within 12 pubs around Reading.

The next challenge day is Sunday December 22 between 2pm and 8pm.

Participants will need to explore the personality of each pub and the excitement of Christmas while solving the clues and completing the puzzles to gain stamps.

Complete as many of the 12 challenges as your wit will allow and collect your stamps in an event passport which you can enter into a prize draw.

The more stamps you collect the more chance you have of winning a TimeTrap Escape Rooms voucher for four.

The recommended team size is two to four people and just pick up a passport from any of the pubs taking part to start.

The puzzles are all stand alone, with none linked.
