The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Court:

September 18:

LAMARR FRANCIS, 24, of Alphington Road, Reading, admitted drug-driving in Basingstoke Road, Reading, on May 14, found to have cannabis in his blood. Fined £40 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge. Must also pay £85 court costs.

PETER MALLET, 61, of Angel Mead in Woolhampton, West Berkshire, admitted drink-driving in Angel Mead, Woolhampton, on August 30. Found to have 62mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Fined £663 and ordered to pay £66 victim surcharge, plus £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 17 months.

LEVI HEHOLT, 28, of Gainsborough Road in Reading, convicted of stealing diesel worth £75.07 from Tesco Express in Reading on March 3. Convicted of stealing diesel worth £100.01 from Tesco Express in Reading on May 23. Also admitted using a vehicle on A4 Bath Road without the correct insurance on June 16. Convicted of stealing diesel worth £70.14 feom Tesco Express in Reading on May 26, and admitted stealing diesel worth £98.83 from Tesco Express on June 16. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation requirements and undertake 100 hours unpaid work. Must also pay £344.05 compensation and £85 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £250 court costs.

CONNOR TRUSSLER, 22, of Buckland Road, Reading, admitted damaging two air conditioning units at the Royal Berkshire Hospital on March 29, and admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment of distress on the same occasion. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and carry out 100 hours unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £1,000 compensation.

September 19: 

ALEXANDRA FENTON-LETH, 46, of Coley Place in Reading, admitted stealing £136 worth of alcohol from Sainsbury's in Hectors Way , Newbury, on August 30. Also admitted stealing £81.90 worth of alcohol from Sainsbury's in Hectors Way, Newbury, on August 23. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and must pay £217.90 compensation. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs.

LEVI HEHOLT, 28, of Gainsborough Road in Reading, admitted driving whilst disqualified on the A4 Bath Road , Reading, on June 16. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and 100 hours unpaid work. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

ALEXZANDER ESPY, 29, of no fixed abode, admitted criminal damage to a patio door in Crown Street, Reading, on September 18, Given a conditional discharge for 12 months.

DAVID WEST, 32, of Tickhill Close, Lower Early, Reading, convicted of racially or religiously aggravated intentional harassment, alarm, or distress in words or writing in Reading on December 18. Also admitted stealing a saucepan set and two mattress protectors worth £179.97 from TK MAXX in Reading on July 29. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and ordered to pay £100 compensation. Must also pay £170 court costs.

CHIFWEBE MWANANYANDA, 27, of Rushley Way, Reading, admitted drink-driving in Fair Isle Way, Reading, found to have 71mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Admitted driving in Fair Isle Way, Reading, without the correct licence or insurance on September 1. Fined £300 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge, plus £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 20 months.
