A WOMAN was left with bruising after pushed to the ground by a group teenagers during an attempted robbery in Thatcham.

The incident took place on Thursday, November 21 along the path between Bradley Moore Square and Foxglove Way.

At 5.30pm, three teenage boys of around 16 -17, described as being white and wearing dark clothing, were riding on bicycles and began to circle around 41-year-old woman.

One of the boys grabbed at her handbag before pushing her over, but she was still able to keep hold of the bag.

The victim sustained swelling, bruising and cuts to her knee, wrist and hand.

Nothing was stolen during the incident.
