THE CONSERVATIVE party has denied rumours that Prime Minister Boris Johnson could be visiting the county tomorrow.
A week ahead of the general election, multiple people had tweeted that they had heard the PM could be visiting Newbury on Thursday.
Fiona Gurr tweeted: “Hearing rumours that Boris Johnson maybe visiting the Newbury constituency on Thursday."
Adding: “First Raab, then Javid, now Johnson. Laura Farris has met more cabinet members than locals.”

One person claimed to have also seen a campaign schedule but said it did not confirm the rumours or any locations.
Thomas Tunney also tweeted: “Where is Boris Johnson going to turn up in Newbury on Thursday?”
The West Berkshire Conservative Association has denied rumours that Boris Johnson is campaigning in Newbury tomorrow.
When asked if these rumours were true, a spokesperson for the association said: "We don’t know anything about it.
"We’re not sure where the rumours came from."
