A BRAND new Japanese restaurant, Osaka, is coming to Reading next year and will be located on the Oracle's riverside.

1. Coconut Bar and Kitchen - 4.5 stars
Reading's highest rated Japanese restaurant (as voted on Tripadvisor) is Coconut Bar and Kitchen located on St Mary's Butts receiving 4.5 stars.
One reviewer said it was their "favourite place to eat in Reading" and another described the food as "amazing".
2. YO! Sushi - 4 stars
YO! Sushi, located in House of Fraser, has been voted the second best Japanese restaurant in Reading with a 4 star rating.
3. Oishi - 5
Oishi on Oxford Road is the third highest rated Japanese restaurant in Reading with five stars.
One reviewer called the food "absolutely amazing" and another called it "delicious".
4. Wagamama - 4 stars
Wagamama has been rated as Reading's fourth best Japanese restaurant.
The food was described as "delicious" and "yummy" and staff described as "great".
5. Itsu - 4 stars
Itsu on Queen Victoria Street is Reading's fifth highest rated Japanese restaurant.
One reviewer described the food as "excellent" however another explained they were "somewhat dissatisfied".
