MILLGATE has secured planning approvals for two new schemes to build 58 homes across Berkshire, further strengthening its presence in the county.

The approvals follow on from Millgate’s latest ventures in Berkshire, including its sell-out schemes Englemere, The White House and Woodlands Lodge, as well as the ongoing success of its Kingswood development in Ascot.

On 6th November, Sunninghill and Ascot Parish Council has granted planning permission for renowned Home Counties housebuilder, Millgate, to redevelop the land at Beechgrove, on Church Lane in Sunninghill, Ascot.

The approved plans will see the development of 14 two and three-bedroom apartments, along with underground parking and a tennis court, all set within nine acres of parkland. Located just off London Road, homes will be within walking distance of both Sunninghill and Ascot.

Works will begin on site in early 2020, with first completions expected in 2021.

Approval was also granted on 9th November by Wokingham Borough Council on a second collection of homes by Millgate at Arborfield Green – representing the latest addition to the thriving new garden village. The successful application follows Millgate’s earlier phase at Arborfield Green, Hilborn, which launched in September, where over half of homes have sold already.

Located in a flagship position overlooking the cricket pitch and green open space, the new development comprises 44 one and two-bedroom apartments, as well as two, three and four-bedroom houses. Works will begin on site from January 2020, with first completions expected in 2021. Help to Buy will also be available.

Paul Beaney, Managing Director, Millgate, comments: “The outcome we received at both committees is fantastic and highlights our ongoing commitment to creating high-quality homes in Berkshire. We look forward to bringing these new homes to the market next year.”
