A 'POP-UP shop' with a twist has opened in Wargrave.

The Old Post Office is the brainchild of a team of local businesswomen – all from the Berkshire area, backed by Mel Stack and run by Libby Spratley.

They have curated a collection of art and Christmas gifts, many produced by local craftspeople, to browse over a coffee, and are hoping to help regenerate the High Street by offering a series of special events during the day and evenings - from sociable Christmas wreath making to book readings.

It is open on Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10am till 5pm.

The team will also run the shop thorough the Spring, whilst The Old Post Office is vacant and available.

The wreath making will cost £45 per person, and will be held on Monday, December 9 from 4pm - 5pm and 2.30pm - 4.30pm on Tuesday, December 10 and Thursday, December 12..

Libby Spratley added: "All wreaths are being freshly hand-made from pine and moss, for us, and we have a fantastic range of goodies to adorn them with, together with silk wired ribbon from VV Rouleaux in Marylebone.

"If you are a party of 6 or more, we can also arrange a special time for you.

"It could also be the ideal work team building event!

"A glass of Prosecco and nibbles are provided, too."
