THEALE was strongly represented at a pub awards event this week, with two pubs winning titles at the 'Best of the Best Awards'.
The Bull Inn, High Street and the Fox and Hounds, Station Road, were both awarded marketing awards from Wadworth at the independent family brewer and regional pub operator's annual awards.

Held on Monday night, the ceremony toasts the very best pubs and people from Wadworth’s managed and tenanted pub estates.
Mark Gallimore and Jodi Schofield, business partners at the Bull Inn, beat off strong competition to gain the Best Retail and Digital Marketing award, while Miles Teece and Jayne Tilsey of the Fox and Hounds gained the Best Marketing pub accolade.
They were presented with their awards by sponsor Adam Tinsley of Britvic.

Chris Welham, CEO of Wadworth, said: "This is great news for these two brilliant Theale pubs, Mark and Jodi and Miles and Jayne operate great pubs and it's fantastic for Theale and the area that they have two award winning pubs.
"Huge congratulations go to them both."
The annual awards took place at The Bear Hotel’s Grand Ballroom in Devizes and saw a total of 27 accolades being awarded to the standout managers, tenants, chefs, team members and pubs.
