A MAN was left with a broken jaw after being attacked in a takeaway shop in Reading.

CCTV image shows a man police officers would like to speak to following the incident, which took place in Bay's Peri Peri takeaway in West Street.

At around 3.40am on Sunday, November 17, the victim, a 23-year-old man, was with his girlfriend in the takeaway, when three men began talking to her.

Thames Valley Police said the victim then began talking to them, and was punched in the face.

Security staff intervened and the victim and his girlfriend were taken outside.

The force added that the three men then followed the victim, who was again punched in the face, causing him to sustain a broken jaw.
