POLICE in West Berkshire have warned residents to drive carefully in the slippery conditions.

A shocking photo shows a car which ended up in a ditch in Mortimer was posted by Thames Valley Police West Berkshire last night (November 14), saying: 'The driver was very lucky to walk away covered in mud but not injured.
'Always drive to the conditions, the roads are wet and slippery tonight in Mortimer.'
