FLOOD warnings have been issued to urge people to prepare ahead of potential downpours.
Alerts have been issued for seven areas across Berkshire as heavy rain is expected as we head into the weekend.
Government information on flood alerts has listed the areas at potential risk.
This includes areas around the River Thames from Mapledurham to Sonning. Warnings currently state that property flooding is not yet expected but the River Thames at Caversham is expected to burst its banks as water levels remain high.
It said: "There is no more rain forecast today however the risk of flooding remains for the coming days and levels will increase as water moves down the river."
It added that incident response staff will be on hand to clear weeds and rubbish as a result of the flooding.

It is a similar case for the River Thames from Pangbourne to Purley although the river has already burst the banks after recent heavy rainfall.
Warnings also stem up the River Thames to Days Lock through to Pangbourne, and its tributaries where the river is already out of the banks.
Nearby there is a warning for the River Pang which is currently steady with high levels from East Ilsley to Sulham Brook but yet to burst its banks.
In Wokingham, a warning is in place around the Emm Brook with flooding or low lying land and roads is expected over the next 24 hours.

Another warning covers Chertsey Bourne with the alert covering areas out to Sunningdale and Sunninghill. The alert say property flooding is not yet expected but flooding of low lying land and roads is.
All warnings urged households to 'please remain safe and aware of your local surroundings and avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses, especially along the River Thames towpaths'.
