A READING fish and chip shop has been given a prestigious award - but is it your favourite in the area?
Mr Chips on Oxford Road has been awarded a Good Food Award for Fish and Chips 2020.

The fish and chip shop is one of 200 across the country that has been nominated for this award.
The Good Food Award evaluated customer feedback and decided this shop had exceptional levels of food quality, service and value when compared to their industry benchmarks.

There were more than double the number of winners last year with 460 shops awarded the prize.
