NOT ONLY are we now heading into the Christmas countdown, but we are also heading for a general election.
Voters are set to go to the polls on December 12 after MPs backed a move from Prime Minister Boris Johnson last month for the pre-Christmas vote.
So, we asked readers who they will be voting for on the big day and leading the way in true festive colours was Labour who took the title.

Our readers poll pulled in 1,778 votes and Labour came out on top.
Jeremy Corbyn's party proved most popular for readers who voted, taking 52 per cent of the votes.
Liberal Democrats came in second with 29 per cent of the votes.
Then the Green Party with 9 per cent, Conservatives with 7 per cent, and Brexit party with 3 per cent.
