FAMOUS comedian Ricky Gervais has been reminiscing of his childhood growing up in Reading.
The celebrity has been telling his Twitter fans all about his early life in the town and takes a look back at life hanging out at the Butts Centre - now the Broad Street Mall.

Gervais tweeted the details while referencing the first album he bought with his own money.
He said the star pulled together his pocket money age 12 to visit the record shop in the Butts Centre.
The first album he bought was Stranded by Roxy Music.
