The switch on is taking place on November 23 at 4.30pm followed by a carol concert led by the churches of Woodley.
Numerous Christmas lights have been added to trees in the precinct and the town centre ready for this year's switch on.
The Woodley and Earley Lions Club will be there handing out mulled wine and mince pies.
They will also be giving out carol sheets where people will be encouraged to participate in the festive singing.
Following the switch on, Woodley Town Centre will be hosting their 23rd Christmas Extravaganza on December 1.
People are invited down to the town from 10am to enjoy a day filled with fun until 3pm.
There will be a brand new stage this year with performances from the likes of the Starlet Dance School, The Royal Jazz Band, The Rock Choir and more.
The event will also see comedy jugglers and Morris dancers perform.
Rides will also be on offer including a new addition, Rodeo Rudolf, making the day full of fun and games.
