Jane Gates OBE, Sebastian's Action Trust CEO, said: "Everyone at Sebastian’s Action Trust is completely overwhelmed by this absolutely incredible amount of money from Wolseley Infrastructure, which has chosen our charity as the main beneficiary of its annual gala ball for the second consecutive year.

The charity is planning to introduce two new cedar-clad respite lodges at The Woodlands early next year.

The lodges will accommodate up to eight people and will include bedrooms, a specially adapted bathroom facility suitable for children and young people with disabilities.

Families staying in the new lodges will have use of The Woodlands' onsite facilities during their stay, which a safe leisure space within Sebastian's Tree House, Ruby's Den, Beech Lodge and Cedar Lodge.

"Without any Government funding, we have achieved this at The Bluebells and now, thanks to Wolseley Infrastructure, we can build the first of our two lodges planned for The Woodlands."
