RUMOURS of a new BBC TV series starring comedian Lee Mack are spreading after a resident saw crews pitched up in Sandhurst.
Bristol Television & Film Services crews were seeing parked up in Waitrose's car park on Sunday, October 20.
A nearby house in Fraser Mead is being used as a film set for the show Semi-Detached.
Residents quickly turned to ask questions on facebook, with on saying: "Went to Waitrose earlier and car park is full of TV/Film lorries. Anyone know what’s being filmed? Is it that Lee Mack series?" This isn't the first time Sandhurst has been used as the prime location for the show.
Last year, a local posted a video of a TV crew filming and Lee Mack acting on set on Facebook and people commented saying this was for the pilot episode.
Semi-Detached follows the life of Stuart (Lee Mack), a failing wedding DJ whose life in a town spirals downhill.
Six episodes are being filmed and each will follow his hectic life, dealing with his chaotic family and living across the cul-de-sac from his ex-wife.
The Bristol Television & Film Services has been contacted for a comment.
