WANT to save some pennies on the Christmas shopping?

Look no further than the Thames Valley Police eBay page, where this week the force are flogging bundles of expensive perfumes, branded hair care and high-tech gear at a sliver of the usual price.

Bundled together this week are four branded toothbrushes, all untouched and unused – but with slight damage to the packaging.

Police use the buying and selling page to get rid of goods seized in investigations, or handed in at police stations.

Another hot listing, which all start at 99p before bidders battle in cash to win, are 17 different designer scents.

Issey Miyake, Armani, Ralph Lauren and Paco Robanne perfumes are currently going for just under £300 – at least £500 off the retail value – if you wanted to buy 17 all at once.

The profits made from the sales go to good causes in the Thames Valley, divvied up through a scheme run by the Police and Crime Commissioner.

Winners must collect everything in person from the police eBay HQ in Milton Keynes.
