CELEBRITY bakers Val Stones and Louise Williams, stars of the Great British Bake Off show, are set to don their aprons and demonstrate their baking prowess at Redrow’s show home at Kingsley Park.

The local community and prospective buyers are invited to Kingsley Park on Saturday 19th October from 11am to 3pm, where Val and Louise will be demonstrating their expert baking skills across a four-hour masterclass. The baking duo will prepare tasty sweet and savoury Halloween bakes. The local community will be encouraged to get involved and the pair can also answer your burning baking questions.

Mark Vanson, Sales Director at Redrow Southern Counties, said: “This is the first time we’ve held an event like this at one of our communities in the Southern Counties region and we are delighted to be hosting it at Kingsley Park in The Harrogate, one of our show homes. Whether you’re a local resident who loves to bake or someone hunting for their next home, you’re all invited.

“The event will utilise the spacious open-plan kitchen and dining room in The Harrogate, which like all our Heritage Collection homes, has been intentionally designed as the hub of the home with space to eat, entertain and enjoy. We hope to see lots of people dropping by to taste a treat and have a look around both the development, and Arborfield Green and what it has to offer.”

Arborfield Green is Berkshire’s newest garden village and it has been carefully designed in a way to promote individual well-being by encouraging residents to make the most of the outdoors, whether for exercising or socialising with friends and family. The village hosts a variety of sports pitches, cycle and walking routes, and green open spaces – including a country park, allotments and a lake.

Redrow’s development, Kingsley Park, offers a range of homes for first-time buyers and both young and growing families, from two-bedroom apartments through to five-bedroom homes. The homes on offer are all from Redrow’s award winning Heritage Collection, inspired by the Arts & Crafts architectural movement of the 1930s, met with open plan and modern interiors.

Prices at Kingsley Park start from £279,950 for a two-bedroom apartment and from £419,950 for a three-bedroom home. The Government backed Help to Buy is available on select homes and Redrow’s own Help to Sell initiative is available on all homes, helping buyers to sell their current home and move to their Redrow home.
