A READING brewery was broken into and burgled in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Double-Barrelled Brewery in Stadium Way, Tilehurst, was broken into between 12.20am and 1.20am on Saturday September 28.
Thames Valley Police confirmed offenders caused damage to enter the unit and then made off with a cashbook, two pushbikes and a laptop from the business.
The business took to Twitter to tell their customers about the break in and to thank people for their support.
A little heads up for anyone heading down to the taproom today. We had a break in to the brewery last night - everyone is fine, but we will be CARD ONLY today. Thanks for your understanding. Open as usual from 2pm.

Hugest love for our team today who rallied around in Mike and Is absence to get the building secure and ready for open ASAP. Every team member had been on site helping before me getting back from Leeds. Despite the circumstances we are very grateful and thankful ❤️
