A WOODLEY-BASED choir will be returning Henley this Saturday (September 28).

The choir will perform at The Kenton Theatre for their autumn show.

Their programme will include a cappella arrangements of Billy Joel classics, songs from movies including ‘Paint your wagon’ and ‘Toy Story’ as well as Elvis Presley favourites.

The chorus are delighted to welcome as guests Simon Mayor and Hilary James, who entertain audiences with fiddle, mandolin and guitar and Hilary’s beautiful vocals.

Their mixed repertoire includes a Vivaldi concerto, Scottish, Irish and English ballads, songs by Gershwin and Irving Berlin as well as their own original compositions.

Also joining the chorus in Henley are the all-female a cappella quartet Avalon.

The show starts at 7.30pm.
