MPs has huge Brexit concern

Brexit continues to be a very difficult issue and the country faces a potential cliff edge no deal Brexit in just a few weeks’ time.

I am concerned about the potential impact of crashing out of the EU without a deal, both to our economy, the NHS and other public services and to our local community.

I would like to see a second referendum, with both a realistic deal and remain on the ballot paper. I would campaign for remain in this referendum.

I hope a range of political parties will continue to work together to avoid no deal and to protect the national interest.

• I have voted for the Bill to make it illegal for the Government to leave without a deal

• I would consider supporting an alternative caretaker Government which could allow a second referendum to be held

• I would also like to see the current Government replaced through a General Election

Brexit is a very difficult issue and I understand that constituents have a range of views, I would be grateful if you could let me know your views about the Bill making it illegal for the Government to leave without a deal, an alternative caretaker Government and having a General Election.

Memories of The Jam

It is more than 40 years since The Jam exploded onto the music scene.

I am compiling a people’s history of The Jam, trying to tell their story in the words of fans, and would love to hear from anyone who saw them live including their two appearances in Reading at the Top Rank and later at the university.

If anyone would care to share their memories with me I can be reached on iwasatthatgig@gmail.com.
