A DRUG dealer from West London has been jailed to four years imprisonment for supplying heroin in Reading.

Josh Barry of Barnes Avenue, Southall pleaded guilty at Reading Crown Court on Thursday, September 5 to possession with intent to supply class A drugs, namely heroin.

The 31-year-old was arrested by Thames Valley Police on February 14 in Kenavon Drive, Reading.

A property was searched on the same day where wraps of class A drugs were seized.

Barry was charged the following day.

He was sentenced during the same hearing to four years' imprisonment.

Investigating officer PC Tom Kennedy from the Reading Stronghold Team, said: "Tackling the illegal supply of drugs in Reading is a priority for Thames Valley police.

"Drug dealing in Reading will not be tolerated.

"We will keep working hard to investigate and prosecute those committing crime in our communities.
