A MAN waving a knife around in the street was tasered and arrested by police in the morning rush hour.
The incident happened in Caversham Road at around 8.48 when officers encountered a man who was in possession of a knife.
Police officers tasered the man and arrested him on suspicion of being in possession of an offensive weapon.
No one was injured.
One eyewitness said: "Traffic was really bad on my way to work. I saw three police cars and an ambulance and I wasn't sure what was going on, it looked pretty serious though."
