A GREEN Market is coming to Forbury Gardens this weekend and the trader line up has been announced.

The new family focused event aims to encourage eco-friendly living with a range of cruelty free products and vegan food on offer as well as zero waste solutions.

It's taking place on Sunday September 1 between 11am until 4pm.

The following traders will be there:

- Cocolico Pâtisserie (vegan patisserie)

- Makan Malaysia (vegan Malaysia food and cooking sauces)

- Lotus Boutique Windsor (vegan beauty products)

- FourState (zero waste products)

- TwinkleontheWeb (cloth nappies and eco menstrual products)

- Altered State (upcycled homewares and gifts)

- Cosmic Dust Glitter Bar (eco-friendly glitter face and body painting)

- MOOMOO Soaps (homemade bastile and castile soaps)

- Clean Green Living (natural cleaning products)

- AMORA Candlesuk (soy wax candles)

- Hempen (organic hemp teas, oils and supplements)

Organisers are urging visitors to bring their own reusable containers and boxes to fill up with goods in order to be sustainable.

They are also encouraging people to think about how they get to the event itself, suggesting public transport over car travel to reduce C02 emissions.
