YOUNGSTERS across the country yesterday (August 16) ended a nervous wait as they found out their A-Level examination results.
Many in Reading were thrilled to find out they had made the grades for their university.
Students from Kendrick School, Reading Boys' School, Blue Coat School and Reading College joined thousands in the UK who arrived at their school gates in the morning to collect the all-important envelope.
Vinay Patel, who attended Reading Boys' School, achieved an impressive 3 As and will be studying Medicine at Southampton, said: "it was really hard work and feel really proud.
"The school helps a lot.
"It is hard to out it into words."
