GARRARD Street has today been reopened following a major scaffolding collapse at the start of the month.
It has been closed for two weeks since the incident, which left three people injured.

Reading Borough Council confirmed earlier this week that the street closure will not be in place for much longer.
A spokesperson for Station Hill said:
“We are pleased that Garrard Street was fully re-opened at 14.45 this afternoon. We apologise for the inconvenience caused during the period in which the road was closed and thank the local community for their patience during this time.”
