A WOMAN who climbed through the window of a house and stole items has been jailed.
Victoria Sharkey, 32, of Oxford Road, Reading, was sentenced to a total of two years and five months' imprisonment at Reading Crown Court on Monday, July 29.
She pleaded to guilty to one count of burglary at the same hearing.
On 20 June this year, Sharkey climbed through the window of a property in Cannon Street and stole items including a purse and bank cards.

She was charged with the offence on June 24.
Investigating officer detective constable Adam Tarrant, based at Reading police station, said: “I am pleased that Sharkey has been brought to justice for committing this offence.
“This conviction shows that we will not tolerate burglary and that wherever possible we will investigate and seek to bring those responsible before the courts.”
