The team were invited by Nike as part of the Nike Partner Club Festival 2019.

The sports brand is the club’s partner meaning they are the exclusive supplier of their equipment such as balls and kits.

The aim of the day was to give the girls the opportunity to have fun whilst improving their skills.

They even had the chance to play matches against teams from around the country.

James Wilson, coach for the U9 and U10 girls, said: “It was a great day - despite the heat, the girls played really well, and all enjoyed the day.

“They all went home with Nike goodie bags which they loved too.

“It was a real privilege to be invited, and I hope we will have the opportunity to do it again in future.”

The club still have spaces available in their teams for girls who will be in years five and six next September.
