Hot weather is forecast all week
ROUGH sleepers can get cold drinks and have a cool place to get out of the sun today at the council offices on Market Street, Newbury.
West Berkshire Council is providing this support due to the hot weather expected over the next few days.
The Met Office is forecasting highs of 32 degrees in Newbury today, 29 degrees tomorrow, and 34 degrees on Thursday.
The council tweeted this morning that rough sleepers wanting help should come to the Market Street office.
A council spokeswoman said outreach workers are giving out water to rough sleepers around Newbury.
