THOUSANDS took part in Reading's Race for Life on Sunday (July 14).
The 10k run took place at Prospect Park, where the route took participants on two laps of the 5k route, in the backdrop of a fantastic atmosphere.
As the course criss-crossed around the park, runners could enjoy taking in the woodland areas.
This year, men were able to join in the charity run, which raises money for the fight against cancer.
This year is the first time Race for Life has opened its doors for men to participate too, making it an inclusive event and giving people the chance to come together with their family and friends, and join the movement to beat cancer.
