TEMPORARY traffic lights have been put in place in Thatcham after a water main pipe burst caused flooding.
Thames Valley Police closed off areas of the Bath Road between the junction of Park Lane, The Moors and Thatcham Broadway due to the flooding caused by the burst pipe.
Roads are currently open, however temporary traffic lights are in place to allow traffic to flow and and road repairs to continue.
A Thames Water Spokesman said: "We’re sorry for the disruption caused by burst pipe at the weekend.
“Our repair work was completed in the early hours of this morning (Monday) and the A4 is now open, but with temporary traffic lights in place so we can safely replace the road surface.
“We will aim to have things back to normal as soon as possible.”
