A FIRE broke out in the underground car park of a block of flats last night (July 10).
Police received a call at about 9.30pm to assist the fire in Bedwyn Mews, Reading.
Officers assisted the fire service with an evacuation of the flats above the car park.
Nobody was injured and residents are now allowed to return to their properties.
Road closures in place have now been lifted, however a scene is in place in the car park as an investigation is underway.
Police ask anyone who witnessed what happened to contact them on 101 or make a report online quoting reference 1569 (10/7).
