A CHEERLEADING team in Reading have won multiple national and European titles across two competitions.

Crimson Heat Tigers, an all-girls cheerleading program in Thatcham, took part in two of the biggest cheerleading competitions in the UK taking home a total of nine titles.

They attended the Jamfest European Championship in Liverpool last month and walked away with three European titles.

The team were back at it last week (July 5-7) competing in the Future Cheer National Championship in Bournemouth.

Here, they took home four national titles, one supreme champions and one grand champions.

The team has also qualified again for both Senior World Championships and Junior World Championships for April/May 2020 held at the Disney ESPN Arena in Orland Florida.

In 2017, they were the first non-American team to win the Junior World Championships.

Crimson Heat are part of Berkshire Talent academy, and community not for profit CIC which works with young people getting them into physical activity and sport.

Cheerleading is a sport built on teamwork and the highest level of athletic ability.

Currently, there are over 250 girls in the Crimson Heat Tiger’s program with many from challenging and underprivileged backgrounds.

Many have found support and a home within the sport of cheer.
