TWO men who kicked a door down and stole a laptop bag on a quiet road in Tilehurst are wanted for burglary.

Police have released CCTV images of the two men who are seen walking towards a house on Halls Road on Thursday, June 27 at around 2.50pm.

One of the men stood watch, while the other tampered with the lock and then kicked the front door down of the property to gain entry.

The second man then entered the property and was inside for around seven minutes.

He was seen leaving with a laptop bag which contained a dark grey Hewlett Packard laptop.

The men were then seen walking towards the roundabout that splits Langley Hill, Park Lane and Halls Road.

Investigation officer PC Petar Stoyanov, based at Newbury police station, said: "I am releasing these images as I believe that these men may have information that is vital to this investigation.

"I urge anyone who recognises these men to contact police on the 24-hour non emergency number 101 quoting reference 43190194839’ or to make a report online.

"Alternatively, reports can be made anonymously via indepedent charity Crimestoppers on 0800555111."
