LOOKING back, 2016 saw a glamorous night of celebration, an evening when the very best of Reading retailing was honoured at The Hilton Hotel.

More than 3,500 nominations were received, with the biggest cheer of the night going to independent baker Waring’s who were named Retailer of the year. Other winners in the seventh year of these prestigious awards included:

Multiple Retailer of the year – Sainsburys

Health, Beauty & Wellbeing – Nicol’s Boutique

Out of town – The Fox & Hounds

Shooting Star – Jasleen Gill, Debenhams

Trainee of the year – Victoria Cox, Kool Kidz Kutz

Independent Retailer of the year – Eclectic Games

Manager of the year – Darren Heath, Cau
