THE WOODLEY Carnival took place on the weekend (Saturday, June 8), and the event saw thousands turn up to enjoy the atmosphere.
Floats and dancers passed through the crowds in Woodley as awards were given for best school/charity float; best walking display and best business float.
The 2019 theme was 'At the Movies', and comprised stalls from charities and local groups, a funfair, an area full of acts from local groups as well as food and drinks.
The carnival saw community groups and businesses gathered together in Woodford Park for the biggest outdoor event in Woodley town's calendar.
There was also lots to see on the field, with a classic car show, a dog show, a photographic show and flower show.
Plenty of displays were also enjoyed, from local enthusiast of model railways, traction engines, caged birds a mobile petting farm and so much more.
Younger visitors were able to enjoy a range of free participation events, including inflatable world and rides on the Smiley Train.
