TORRENTIAL rain yesterday and overnight has partially flooded the Vastern Road underpass.
An amber weather warning was put in place yesterday (June 10), with warnings of possible flooding and transport problems.
Yesterday saw the equivalent of a month's rainfall, which has caused disruption to trains and roads across the south east.
The underpass, which connects to the Vastern Road roundabout, is half submerged in water, causing traffic to have to slow down or avoid the area.
